Alan began his legal career in 2007 as a student at PUC-SP and built experience in the Judiciary, leading law firms, consultancies and a corporate tax department. He holds a postgraduate degree in Tax Law. This background brings complementary perspectives on risk prevention, transaction implementation and dispute defense.
Throughout his career, he has worked on direct and indirect taxes, corporate reorganizations, M&A, foreign trade, due diligence, tax credit recovery, audits and administrative and judicial proceedings. He has also held management, partnership and tax leadership positions.
He has been the founder of Chaves Advogados since 2017 and is president of the Tax Law Committee of the Butantã Subsection of the São Paulo Bar Association (2025/2028 term).
